Professor Flores’ presentation on tips for guiding students to more effective PowerPoint presentations will be followed by a conversation on faculty use of PowerPoint presentations with their students.

Using electronic portfolios to enhance and assess student learning has become a common pedagogical practice. Nuria Alonso García and Elizabeth Tangney will share the Global Studies experience with ePortfolios. Participants will discuss how they might implement ePortfolios in their courses and programs to further support student engagement and ownership of learning.
