The Office of Residence Life is strongly committed to providing opportunities for student growth outside the classroom. Residence Life staff supports this mission through various educational programs and activities within each residence hall.

Residence Hall Councils

The Residence Hall Council is a leadership opportunity for all students living on campus. Hall Council coordinates programs, activities, and events with the support of Residence Life staff.

Resident Assistants (RA’s)

Every residence building at Providence College is staffed by a team of sophomore, junior, and senior leaders who serve as resources to all resident students. RA’s are well-trained individuals who are expected to provide support and enhance the living environment for resident students during their time as members of the PC community.

Hall Directors (HD’s)

Traditional residence halls are staffed by a live-in Residence Hall Director. HD’s are professional administrators living on campus who supervise Resident Assistants and are responsible for the management of their assigned buildings.

The Dominican Order

Many Dominican Fathers live in residence halls and are active members of the community. An integral part of residence living at PC, Dominicans are highly involved in both programming and ministry.
