Forthcoming speakers in the department include John Corvino (Wayne State University) and John Haldane (St Andrews University).

The department has also hosted the Annual Conference of the International Society for MacIntyrean Enquiry (2011), and is home to the annual New England Undergraduate Philosophy Conference, organized by members of the Providence College Philosophy Club.

Our faculty, along with members of the student Philosophy Club, are regular participants at Philosophical Events in the Region, such as the annual Rhode Island Philosophical Society conference and conferences and lectures at Brown and other nearby colleges and universities.
