The Honors Program sponsors a variety of academic, cultural, and social events and opportunities throughout the school year.

Honors Convocation

This annual dinner opens the academic year and features a distinguished alumnus guest speaker. In addition, the Thomson Scholar Award is given to an outstanding student voted on by the faculty.

National Mentoring Program

Students are paired with PC Honors Program alumni from around the country for internship and career exploration opportunities.

Special Cultural and Academic Enrichment

Events include dinners, lectures, networking nights, and visits to places like the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Trinity Repertory Company, and the Rhode Island Philharmonic.

Rodney Delasanta Honors Lecture

Named in honor of former Honors Program director Rodney K. Delasanta, Ph.D. '53, this annual lecture series is held every April and features a nationally recognized guest lecturer.
