Transcript Request Information

Transcripts for current or former students may be ordered through mail, in person, E-mail (, by fax (401-865-1899), or online through CyberFriar.  Requests from E-mail must come from a recognizable E-mail address (this means the student's name must be part of the E-mail address).  You must submit a Transcript Request Form with your request or a scanned document attached containing the information noted below and your signature.  Due to the high volume of requests, there is a limit of five (5) transcripts per month.  We do not accept telephone requests, nor do we E-mail or fax transcripts from this office.

Transcripts will not be issued for students with "holds" on their records.

Transcript Requests should include:

  • Current Name (First, Middle, Last)
  • Your Current Address
  • Any name(s) you may have had while attending (ex. Maiden Name)
  • Birthdate and/or Last 4 digits of Social Security Number
  • Telephone Number
  • Graduation Year
  • Dates of Attendance
  • Number of copies needed
  • Address to which the transcript is to be sent
  • Your signature
  • Transcripts with final grades will be ready approximately three (3) weeks after the end of the semester.

Transcript requests are processed in the order in which they are received.  The time required for preparation and mailing of transcripts varies; during registration, the start of a new semester, or at the end of grading periods there may be a delay of several days.

Current students may come to the Office of Enrollment Services, Harkins 310, to complete a transcript request form or order one through CyberFriar and make arrangements to return to pick up the transcript at a later time. A photo ID must be presented to pick up a transcript in person.
