Students, faculty, staff, and administrators at Providence College.
Volunteer opportunities will be available from October through May for the next four years.
All schools are in Providence, and with the exception of Bishop McVinney, which is in lower South Providence, all are within three miles of campus. Two schools (St. Pius V and St. Augustine) are within walking distance.
That varies depending on the availability of the volunteer and the needs of the schools. Service hours can be one-time, weekly, monthly, or any other arrangement that works for the schools and volunteers.
The Office of Public Affairs and Community Relations will work with the Diocese of Providence Catholic School Office to identify volunteer opportunities within diocesan schools and match them with PC students, faculty, and staff who are able to volunteer.
Volunteers who want to tutor or who otherwise may be engaged with students on a one-to-one basis will need a background check. PC will cover the cost of background checks and assist with completing required paperwork.
*Campus Transportation will be available to those who request it
