All full time undergraduate students are required to have health insurance and are initially enrolled in and billed for the college health plan, Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan.

If you have health insurance coverage through another means (ie, a parent's health insurance plan), you can opt out of Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan by completing the online waiver at

Important note: Not all plans provide comparable coverage such as out-of-state Medicaid plans, certain HMO's and managed care plans. Be sure to check with your insurance company before waiving coverage.

You must complete this online process each academic year. Students who do not waive by the deadline, August 15, 2014, will be enrolled in and billed for the student insurance plan for the entire policy year.

For additional coverage information, contact Gallagher Student Health at 1-800-457-5599 or by email at
