​​​​​​​​​​​​​Contract Review and Approval Policy

Every Contract, Addendum to an existing Contract, and Agreement entered into on behalf of Providence College must be approved by the Office of General Counsel/Risk Management.  The Form below must be attached to all Contracts, Contract Addenda, & Agreements, along with any Attachments to these Documents, & transmitted to the General Counsel/Risk Manager, Harkins 201, at least three weeks prior to execution. Except for specific delegation of authority, Contracts, Addenda & Agreements must be signed by either the President or the Vice President for Finance & Business. Additionally, groups, clubs and orga​nizations sponsoring or hosting an event must not only comply with these contract review and approval requirements, but also they must provide appropriate insurance documentation prior to the event.
