Due to the recent storm that has impacted significant portions of New England, Providence College will be extending our Early Action application deadline to Monday, November 6th for students in affected areas. If storm-related issues have prevented you from completing your application, we hope this extension gives you time to apply under the Early Action program should you wish to do so. There is no need to request this extension and the Common Application system has been adjusted to continue to accept applications. As always, supporting credentials (transcripts, recommendations, etc.) can be submitted in the days following the deadline. Please don't hesitate to be in touch with the Office of Admission at 401.865.2535 or email@example.com if you have any additional questions.
Given the significant challenges you may still be experiencing as a result of natural disasters throughout the country,Providence College will extend the Early Action deadline to November 15th (and longer, if necessary)for students in affected areas. We understand that, for so many of you, your focus is rightfully on taking care of yourself and your family, and applying to colleges may be next to impossible or, quite simply, just not a priority at this time.
The application fee for all students from Puerto Rico applying to Providence College will automatically be waived. When completing the Common Application, please select the option that says "You can provide a supporting statement from a school official, college access counselor, financial aid officer, or community leader" and know that you do not need to submit such documentation and the fee will automatically be waived for you. For students from other areas for whom the application fee would prove to be a burden, requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to the counselor for your area for assistance.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and May God grant you and your families the courage and the grace to address whatever obstacles you may face.
